Profile

Shailesh S joined the Department of Computer Science in June 2016 as an Assistant professor for teaching students pursuing BCA[Specialization in Cloud technology and Mobile application]. He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from College of Engineering and Management, Punnapra under Kerala University, and M.Tech in Computer and Information Science from College of Engineering, Cherthala, under Cochin University of Science and Technology. He completed his  M.Sc in Mathematics from Madras University. Also, he completed his Ph.D. for evaluation submitted thesis at the Department of Computer Applications, Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT). Currently, he is on leave as he got selected for Post Doctoral Fellowship at Open University, United Kingdom.

He has 4+ years of experience in teaching and one year in research. His area of research includes Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Video Analytics, Deep learning, e.tc.

He has served as a resource person and as a trainer for the different invited talks, technical sessions, and hands-on workshops at colleges, the IT industry, and government institutions in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and  Computer Vision.

He has 4+ years of relevant industrial experience as a Senior Software Engineer in the IT industry. He has mentored and guided many students for application development projects and academic research projects at UG and PG Level.
